Public Health Nursing

Our team is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of Highland County. We promote healthy lifestyles, provide essential immunizations, and work to control infectious diseases. We offer health screenings to catch issues early and collaborate with local organizations to improve access to healthcare. Through these efforts, the Public Health Nursing division aims to create a healthier community and enhance the quality of life for all residents of Highland County.

Nursing Services

    Child and adult immunizations, school immunizations, flu vaccines, and COVID-19 vaccines.

    CPR Training, Blood pressure and blood sugar readings, height and weight screenings, Tuberculosis (TB) Testing, newborn metabolic screening, headlice checks, hand washing education, and community outreach / referrals
