The Highland County Health Department licenses and inspects several facilities that prepare or sell food, and your feedback plays a vital role in keeping our community safe. If you observe unsafe food handling practices or unsanitary conditions in a food service operation, please contact us at (937)393-1941. Complaints can also be submitted electronically. An Environmental Health Specialist will promptly investigate your complaint. Results of all investigations are public record. When possible, an Environmental Health Specialist will follow up with you to share the outcome of an investigation.
Complaints can be filed anonymously.
If you or someone you know is experiencing symptoms of a foodborne illness, please contact us as soon as possible. Early reporting allows us to investigate the issue and help prevent further illness in the community.
